THE PECULIAR TRA LA
When was the last time you played? When was the last time you felt joy?
Join us in the tra la, that familiar yet unfamiliar place of the in-between, and rediscover your sense of wonder.
Veteran director Ang Gey Pin guides the graduating cohort of actor-students from Intercultural Theatre Institute (ITI) in devising an original production that weaves together legends, riddles and the actors’ individual stories with ITI’s unique intercultural training.
Moving, mesmerising and evocative, The Peculiar Tra La is a whimsical journey through stories, the imagination and the in-between.
A new work directed by Ang Gey Pin
Co-created with dramaturg Ranice Tay and the graduating class of 2019
